Zahara Jolie-Pitt was born on January 5, 2005 in Ethopia under the name Yemsrach. When she was given up for adoption to the Wide Horizons For Children orphanage in Addis Ababa and was given the name Tena Adam. Together, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt decided to adopt the beautiful little girl and, on July 6th, 2005, traveled together to adopt her.
Shortly after her adoption, once the couple got Zahara back to the United States, she was hospitalized for dehydration and malnutrition. Her full name is Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt.
In 2007, it was discovered that Zahara’s biological mother, Mentewabe Dawit, was still alive, and many sites reported, inaccurately, that she wanted her daughter back. Mentewabe herself denied this and said that Zahara was very lucky to have been adopted by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Like her siblings, Zahara attends the Lycee-Francais school.

I love this little girl! She is just as adorable as her two little sisters! I just can´t imagine what would have happened if Angie and Brad wouldn´t have adopted her! She most likely would have died in that Ethiopian orphanage! Now she is a healthy and certainly very feisty 5 years old little lady! She already is a beauty and seems to be getting even more beautiful each day! A future model or actress in the making! God bless her and the rest of her family!
