Pax Jolie-Pitt was born in Vietnam on November 29, 2003 under the name Pham Quang Sang. He was abandoned at birth at a local hospital and was raised at the Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City. On March 15, 2007, Angelina Jolie traveled to Vietnam to adopt Pax. The Vietnam law states that a couple may not adopt a child together unless they are married, so Angelina adopted Pax as a single mother and then, when she and Brad returned to California, Brad formally adopted Pax.
Angelina has said that the name Pax was suggested by her mother before she passed away. Pax’s full name is Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt.
Like his siblings, Pax also attends the Lycee-Francais school.
I think Pax is a sweetheart. I am 100% for adoption. I wish more people would adopt. It has been wonderful for us.
