Would You Look Like This?

fans2

When I first saw these pictures of Brad on the red carpet in Spain, my first thought was “wow – can you imagine being a celebrity and having to walk up to a wall of people begging for your attention like this?” Then I realized that not all celebrities have to deal with this level of fan-dom. Brad and Angelina are both so beloved by their fans that it’s actually common to see fans react like this when they are in their presence. And both Brad and Angie are so wonderful that they always take time out to sign a few autographs and to take a few pictures with the fans.

But still, can you imagine how brave you have to be to walk up to a wall of fans like this? At first I started giggling at some of the women in the front who look to be literally begging for his attention.

And then I realized that if I were to be lucky enough to be at a premiere and to see Brad in person? I’d…um…I’d *coughprobablylookthesamecough*.

How about you? How would you react if you were able to be at one of these red carpets?

IF I had a chance to be at one of his premieres – which unlikely since I live in Finland – I most definitely would faint. Or if I wouldn´t faint I would at least be speechless for a long time. Seeing him would be a dream come true. But since that´s NEVER gonna happen I must only dream of Brad and Angie and their beautiful children. Hopefully Brad and the rest of the family will be enjoying their time in France. I´m pretty sure that soon Mad and Pax will go back to school and Zee and Shi back to Kindergarden. God bless the JPs always!

Kati-None of us should be sure of anything regarding the Jolie-Pitts. We really have a very limited amount of information about these people, like it or not. We admire them. We follow the stories about them, but in the end all we can be are fans who watch from afar. That being said, I read during their last stay at Miraval that the Jolie-Pitt children are home-schooled while there because the nearest school in their French-based Internation School Network is too far away. Even so, assume nothing, as fun as it is to speculate.

I would love to see either one of them, but I am 70 so I guess I would be very reserved about it. But inside I would be so thrilled to see them. And seeing their 6 children would be so exciting.
Everyday I sign-on to see if there pictures of the children, it has been so long for Knox and Vivi.

I like to think I’d be cool. Years ago, I’ve seen one of my favorites celebs at the airport and I could control myself. I didn’t even ask an autograph to not bother her in a somewhat resting time.

But, you know, she was not Angelina Jolie. Or Brad Pitt. It’s hard to know for sure… :)

A new look at Emmys, but same old winners

By AARON BARNHART – McClatchy Newspapers

…John Hodgman’s installation as the color announcer was easily the night’s most daring move. Hodgman, “The Daily Show” contributor known for his unabashed cluelessness in Mac ads and his books of made-up facts, talked while winners marched to the stage. He dispensed trivia that ranged from the weird (Cranston’s acting debut was in a United Way promo his dad directed) to the surreal (“The Office” director Jeff Blitz’s first act on learning of his nomination, Hodgman asserted, “was to kiss Angelina Jolie and then go back to bed”).

“…..I want to be a good person and then I really want to leverage whatever success I have had and contribute it to good causes. I get my buzz doing charity. I really enjoy doing it. Most concerts that I have done had something to do with charity. That’s where all the blessings come from. I really like to see stars use their fame to do things like Angelina Jolie does. She is doing a great job, she is like an angel. I wish more people are like that. I would love to be like that.”- SAMI YUSUF (British Muslim singer-songwriter)

I ask BEN AINSLIE (British sailor and three-times Olympic gold medalist) who he would invite to a fantasy fourball. He is suddenly animated by the prospect. “Oh yeah, OK! Well Tiger Woods, obviously, has to be in there. And Jack Nicklaus… and… mmm… [he thinks long and hard] Angelina Jolie?” He laughs. “I don’t even know if she plays golf, probably not. OK, so not Angelina. Someone else… Bill Clinton. That would be entertaining. I heard that he cheats.”

When asked which three famous people that he hadn’t met he would invite to a dinner party, BEN AINSLIE (an English sailor and three-times Olympic gold medalist) told BBC Sport: “Winston Churchill, JFK and Angelina Jolie.”
