Never one to miss an opportunity to view some art, Brad took the time to head to the Chillida-Leku Museum in Hernani, Spain today. The museum showcases the work of Spanish sculptor Eduardo Chillida, and Brad was honored to have along with him Chillida’s son, Iganacio Chillida, on his tour.
I’m an amateur photographer, so I’m totally digging Brad’s camera – as well as the actor himself, of course! Although I must say, I think the goatee needs to be trimmed just a little bit. What do you think?
Definitely not a fan of the bushy goatee..Normally I love his goatee’s but don’t like the bushy-unkept look…I didn’t like the the BP shoes either…I’m wondering if they were a gift maybe from one of the people he’s visiting and felt obligated to wear them? They just didn’t seem like anything he’d normally wear? I also wonder if the goatee length if for an upcoming film he’s preparing for?

Nice to see that he had time to go and see some local art in Spain too. Hopefully he´s now safely back with his beautiful family. I don´t like that horrible facial hair either. But knowing that it´s for his next movie makes it bearable. It´s starting to remind me of the horrible beard he had back in 2004 whan he was supposed to make The Fountain. That beard was much bushier and looked really horrible. But after he pulled out of that movie he shaved it off and looked really sexy. As far as those shoes he was wearing at the premiere. They were a gift from one of his assistants. They were hilarious. Maybe the children are gonna have a blast when they see those shoes. They will sure make fun of daddy and say that if daddy ever forgets his name he can take a look at the shoes and remember what his name is (ha ha). I really wish that he´s now back in France with his family.

i agree with all of you, i wish he would trim his facial hair. it is starting to make him look older than his real age and it makes him look tired. i love the fact that Brad took the time to visit his other hobby, arts and sculptures.
i hope we could see the family again soon.
Over at SimplyBrad.com they have video of the press conference Brad and Tarentino did from the San Sebastian Film Festival. It’s kind of hard to watch and listen to because it’s choppy visually and there is a lot of spanish conversation going on in the background. Nonetheless, Brad says he has no immediate plans to do a film, although he is still working on getting Moneyball off the ground and that they are working on getting Lost City of Z and another movie with Z in it off the ground as well. Didn’t sound like the facial hair was for a film anytime very soon.
The first time I saw pics of him with “BP shoes”, i had mixed reactions. I didn’t know how to react actually. Maybe I was amused. I thought it’s just not very BP to have those “BP shoes”. Nevertheless, it was brave of him to take the risk of wearing it. Probably because IB is not a serious film, so he thought he would not take himself seriously in that moment of promotional activity, perhaps wanted to have a little fun & experiment. So I give him credit for that, for being bold enough to wear something different notwithstanding the public’s reaction.
I also think he is in the place of his life right now that he feels free, can do anything he wants & be himself knowing fully well that he has the total support of his family. He probably knows this time he doesn’t have to put his best foot forward as he is secured with the love of his soul mate & children. No more image projection for him. Enough of that. That was the past. What matters to him is the bright present & future of his life with the loving arms of what is dear to his heart—-HIS FAMILY, yet he still can be himself.
I have no opinion on Brad’s facial hair or his shoes and I don’t think anybody else should have an opinion either!! It’s ridiculous and scary that so many people think they should have a say on what a man they don’t know should look like or what he should wear. Stalk much???
I think Brad Pitt looks wonderful . . . happy and healthy. He’s on vacation with his family, chilling out. If he loves his goatee and his woman loves his goatee, then that’s that! And for him to wear those shoe that were given him by his assistant was a wonderful gesture on his part! It shows he appreciates gifts that people who care about him give to him. That’s what good people do.
(According to Variety) “Lost City of Z” doesn’t even have a workable script yet so it won’t be in front of the cameras until some time in 2010, if then. The “Moneyball” script is also being worked on and won’t be ready to film for awhile. So, stop making up stories about Brad’s schedule.
Thanks for the pictures of Brad in Spain. It’s wonderful that he gets in some art appreciation while he’s promoting his movie. And I’m so happy that “Basterds” is such a big hit worldwide.

I always think that AJ can be a good comedian, not the usual type but a unique, intelligent one.
Besides AJ’s classic”That’s my business, man” & the “I’m not the first one in history that takes a lover”, here are some of her quotes depicting her great sense of humor:
1) On dealing with an injury on set of Tomb Raider: “Look it’s Lara Croft with a cane.”
2) Brad Pitt jokes that his previous film Burn After Reading didn’t have such a wondrous effect for the pair: “She (Angie) saw me in the gym gear and she said, ‘This is the first time I can honestly say I’m not attracted to you whatsoever.’”
3.) MTV: This is your first action flick since ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith.’ I would think it’s a little different rolling around with James McAvoy than with Brad?

The day Brad shaves off the beard, the fans will definitely scream with joy! The comments from other threads that I visited are all about his facial hair. No ill intention in the comments. Just honest opinions express by his fans. I guess everybody misses his handsome face. I’m getting use to the new look but hey it’s Brad Pitt. Just love him no matter what. Love Angie too.
