Have I ever told you about how I never saw Fight Club until a friend from work forced me to sit down and watch it? And then I thanked her profusely and kicked my own butt for never having watched it. I really like Fight Club. I think that it’s an amazing movie and that it will stand the test of time.
And now it will stand the test of time Blu-Ray style!
Fox will be releasing the Blu-ray version to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Fight Club on November 17th – just in time for Thanksgiving! So now you can have your Turkey and your Brad at the same time!
Fox says that this new version of one of our favorite movies will have a number of special features that will make any fan of the movie happy, including a feature that will allow you to remix the audio in four of the scenes of the movie (that’s totally up my alley).
Unfortunately, I don’t have a Blu-Ray player…yet. But I’m thinking that my November, I just may need to get one!
Thanks for this new thread, Randi! is it really 10 years when Fight Club was released? Hard to imagine how fast the time flies. When I first saw the movie I thought it was really violent but after watching it many times it turned out to be a great movie. Brad looked so young at the time. I´m not meaning to say that he looks old now. On the contrary. He looks hotter than ever! I find Tyler being a very hilarious guy. Edward Norton and Brad sure had a blast making this movie. They should celebrate the 10th anniversary of making this movie. A lot has changed for Brad in 10 years. He has gotten married, divorced his wife and now has the most wonderful family in the whole world. Those wild days are over for him. He only makes the kind of movies that his kids can be proud of when they´re older enough to watch them. I wouldn´t be surprised at all if Fight Club would be at least Mad and Pax´s favorite movie. My husband has watched it, but I have never seen it. Maybe with all the praise I should. Randi, maybe you can treat yourself to a Christmas present and get the Blu-Ray Player.
It’s definitely one of those that will with stand the test of time. I have watched it a few times and if I turn the TV on and it’s playing on one of the channels I watch whatever part is left. I just watched “Babel” last night for the first time. It was VERY good and I highly recommend it. I originally didn’t think it would be one that I’d like but boy was I ever wrong. It’s very well done and neat how it all ties in at the end…
