This is another one of those interviews where it’s hard to determine if it’s all new content or if the author of the piece, Justine Underwood, actually spoke with Angelina or if she took pieces from Angie’s previous interviews. There are, however, some interesting tidbits in this interview, such as:
- She’s a “hands on mum. I don’t lounge around watching daytime television – no mother to six children could. There’s always one of ours demanding that I help color in something very important with crayons.”
- She can’t shake her lifelong hatred of being hugged. “A handshake is all I can handle from people who aren’t close to me. I have no idea why that is.”
- She and her father, Jon Voight, are connecting again. “We’re in contact now and writing letters.”
- On where her Oscar is. “I gave (my trophies) to my mother, because I don’t feel I need them around to validate anything I do. There’s a story the Oscar is lost, but that’s not so – Mom put it away somewhere and, to be honest, I haven’t had the strength to go through all her stuff yet.”

And apparently Brad is also on the cover of a magazine this month – and I don’t mean a tabloid. He’s on the cover of Spanish Esquire. I haven’t seen the interview yet, but I’m definitely keeping my eye on it. The picture, however, definitely looks like an older one, don’t you think?

I like your site. Very positive energy. I am a big JP fan and like to read positive not negative comments about Brad, Angie and their kids.
They’re nice quotes. But IMHO both interviews are made up of the pieces of the former ones. Both covers are old photos of Angie and Brad. If they were real interviews, we’d probably see some new photoshoots for the cover like the special Parade photoshoots of Brad.
I think that the interview is an older one – normally, when Angie does a new interview, it’s a back and forth between her and the interviewer, instead of a description of her life sprinkled with quotes. I personally don’t mind – I love reading anything about her, and the photo is stunning.
I haven’t read the entire interview but the quote about her father and the quote about the Oscar are DEFINITELY from other interviews!!! I remember them especially and it is word for word. Also, the photo is from years ago. But, it is nice that Angelina is on a cover when she doesn’t have a movie coming out anytime soon.
